I’ve been in multiple times. We first started going there before they expanded the restaurant, and never had a bad experience there. Atmosphere was always good vibes, and workers always welcoming. I’ve noticed since expanding the past 4 times we’ve gone the wait staff has been rushy, impatient, and rude.
Today we went and got to-go (our 2nd time ordering to-go.) My food was NOT prepared properly. This is the 2nd time our food wasn’t prepay properly and I think it’s because we ordered Togo because I never have an issue getting my meal made right when I dine in. My ticket was written up correctly, and the onions and peppers for my home fries was even highlighted, and still wasn’t added to my food. And the home fries portion wasn’t even what it normally is supposed to be. I got 10 pieces of homefries… Yes, I counted because when you done in you get so many you can barely finish. My eggs were snotty, and ordering them over medium shouldn’t be as snotty as they were. My bacon I wanted crispy, and it was floppy, and barley cooked. I shouldn’t have to check my food when 1. It should be made properly, and 2, the person bagging it should be double checking to ensure all the food is there, and made like it is supposed be. I even tipped with the expectation that everyone did their jobs right.
I called and asked what could be done since I live a good distance away, so running back up to get the right food wasn’t really an option. The first lady I spoke with said she’ll write an IOU for me so next time the meal will be on them, but then some other lady picked up the phone and made me repeat to her EVERYTHING I told the first lady and then huffed and puffed as if I was the inconvenience, and then said ” the owner will call you back.” I expected a call back at least after closing, and I have received no call. I wish I had more positive things to say, but unfortunately bthe last few experiences I’ve had there haven’t been good, and instead of being met with a smile, I’ve been greeted with an eye roll, and huffs and puffs. This is one of my families go to restaurant for breakfast, and instead of supporting a chain, we normally chose to support a local diner. I’m sad that my money, time, and support isn’t valued. If it was I would have been called back by now.
